Despite mitigating factors like riders being scared to be popped for marijuana or another non-performance-enhancing drug use, and the difficulty of finishing the course, the hosts do not deny that doping is prevalent.

Stories like that are objectively hilarious. The mental image of amateur cyclists, who already have the reputation of being too serious about a sport, taking PEDs to move up a few places in a meaningless race is something you can’t make up.
