  • In an exclusive clip, you can watch Jonathan Van Ness do a full cheer routine at his old high school. Yes, really.

If you’ve missed the Queer Eye guys more than you’ve missed weather that allows you to wear a jacket, you’re in luck! The fourth season of the show is about to drop Friday, and Cosmopolitan has an exclusive first look.

This clip is from the very first episode of the season. In it, Jonathan Van Ness (more lovingly referred to as JVN) returns to his own high school to make over his former teacher, Kathi Dooley. Kathi is the head of all the music programs at the high school, and basically, she kills it for her students. But she has a mullet, which means Jonathan is dying to refresh her look. She’s also incredibly deserving, but the mullet is important to note.

The Fab Five surprises her at a pep rally, and JVN embraces his cheerleading roots by completing a full routine to celebrate the makeover. First, it’s incredibly impressive that he remembers. I can’t remember a single high school algebra lesson. Second, he does the whole thing IN HEELS. Kendall Jenner, a literal model, could never.

Please enjoy this beautiful scene:

UMM...AMAZING. Feeling all the feels already. And if that weren’t enough to get you onboard with this season, please see the poster, inspired by this episode.

That is, hands down, the most iconic piece of art in the history of art. The crop tops! The shorts! The pom-poms! Tan’s smirky smirk! It’s entirely too much.

Eight new episodes of Queer Eye drop this Friday on Netflix. Clear your weekend.
