Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus free game lineup for February 2022. It includes UFC 4, Planet Coaster: Console Edition and Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. All three titles will be made available on February 1st. You’ll only have until February 28th to download them.

Both UFC 4 and Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep are playable on PS4. The PlayStation 5 version of Planet Coaster is being offered. It’s a decent lineup of games. Considering they’re free to all PlayStation Plus members, there’s no reason to pass them up.

Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep is the standout of the bunch. The standalone co-op adventure is the perfect way to gear up for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands that’s slated to arrive in March. Inspired by Borderlands, Assault on Dragon Keep sees you fighting an assortment fantastical creatures. You’ll also gather powerful new gear and work your way through its five-hour campaign.

February’s games won’t become available until next week. But January’s free PlayStation Plus titles are still up for grabs. This includes Persona 5 Strikers, Dirt 5 and Deep Rock Galactic. Be sure to add them to your library before they disappear on January 31st.

Are PS Now and PlayStation Plus Merging?

Xbox Game Pass continues to dominate the subscription gaming marketplace, and neither PlayStation Plus nor PS Now comes close to hitting its numbers. Rumors have been swirling about a possible PlayStation “Game Pass” service that would merge the two packages together – although nothing official has been announced. With Xbox adding Activision Blizzard to its roster, however, Sony will likely try to hit back with its own big announcement.

There’s also been some speculation that Sony could purchase EA or Take-Two – publishers whose catalogs include Grand Theft Auto, Apex Legends and Madden. Sony’s main priority at this point is likely putting together a service to rival Xbox Game Pass. Landing some big exclusives could go a long way towards pulling in subscribers.
