New pizza restaurant joining food options inside popular Paristown food hall

A new pizza place is getting a piece of The Village Market pie.

Banditz Pizza, the latest offering from owner Brandon Detenber, will join restaurants such as Sarap Filipino Eatery, Ramble Fried Chicken and Jeff’s Donuts in the popular Paristown food hall. Detenber’s Bunz Burgers has been a staple at The Village Market since September 2022, when the beloved burger joint moved from its longtime location off Baxter Avenue.

“We are excited about Banditz Pizza joining the mix,” Wes Johnson, president of the Paristown Food and Beverage Group, said in a press release. “Brandon’s outrageously good pizza is a great addition to The Village Market’s offerings.”

Along with fried chicken sandwiches and specialty donuts, visitors to the food hall can now grab a pie with crust described as a crossover of flatbread and Neapolitan styles. The menu stays on the simple side with specials including “The Hawaiian Pizza,” topped with red sauce, ham, bacon, grilled chicken, pineapple, red onion and a barbecue drizzle. Another option is “The White Chicken Pizza,” made with Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, grilled chicken, bacon, red onion and basil chiffonade.

Diners can opt for a build-your-own option and all pizzas are offered in two sizes — medium and large.

Banditz Pizza is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday. For more information, visit paristown.com.
