Pizza Hut Is Selling Giant Stuffed Cheez-Its For A Limited Time And We're OBSESSED
Behold, the ultimate collaboration. Pizza Hut announced today a limited-time menu item that will make your jaw drop: the Stuffed Cheez-It Pizza. It's not so much a pizza as it is squares of Cheez-It goodness stuffed with actual cheese—when you open the red pizza box, you'll find four pillowy squares inside that look and smell EXACTLY like the cheesy cracker you know and love.
Delish editors were able to taste the new menu item ahead of the launch and, let me tell you, the taste matches up, too. The squares are made with a specially formulated pizza dough baked with the same cheesy dust used in Cheez-Its. You can order them with cheese or cheese and pepperoni inside. When you rip them open, as you kind of have to do, there is a generous amount of cheese inside.
As for the look, each square has ridges around the edge and an indentation in the middle, just like the crackers. They're just a little bit salty and come with a side of marinara to dip 'em in—honestly, we enjoyed them with and without the sauce, but since there's no sauce inside, dipping does give them a little more of a pizza taste.
The collab feels like something a stoned kid on a college couch dreamt up, except now it's an actual reality. In fact, the collaboration was created with college kids in mind—pizza and Cheez-Its are two dorm room staples, and Pizza Hut wanted to find a way to bring the two together.
