Pizza Hut is finally upgrading its locations to include a drive-thru window, and if you've been the one praying for this to happen, I'm here to personally thank you. The chain—which has previously strayed away from including a pick-up window at their locations—has changed course, and if you ask me, it's one of the best decisions they've made.

Aptly titled "The Hut Lane," the new drive-thru pick-up window service has already rolled out at over 1,500 locations across the country with plans of more to follow soon. What made them implement the new option, you ask? Well, as customer preferences have shifted since the onset of the ongoing pandemic, the longtime brand has decided it to be best in order to meet the needs of their faithful customer base.

So how does it work? At available locations, you can choose the option for "The Hut Lane" when ordering on the Pizza Hut app, online, or even over the phone. Once you get to your specified location, just jump in the "Hut Lane" line and get your order once you get to the window. So, basically, it's just like a regular drive-thru, but it only works if you order ahead...which honestly is probably the best so you're not waiting in line forever.

And for those locations that aren't yet hip to the new "Hut Lane" option yet, don't you fret. Contactless curbside pick-up is still an option, so you can stay in your car and safely get your pizza either way.
