Pizza Bouquets and Boutonnieres Are Now a Thing and That’s Amore

How’s that for wedding flavors? Thanks to Villa Italian Kitchen, this new, slightly eccentric nuptial element is now a very real thing to consider. That’s because Villa, one of America’s quick-service pizza brands, is offering couples getting married this summer a chance to show off atypical wedding bouquets and boutonnieres made entirely of pizza dough and toppings.

The giveaway, which launched on Monday, June 4, gives pizza-loving couples a way to prove their devotion to each other—and their favorite saucy, cheesy, snack. All each submission requires is a registration of entering a valid wedding date and location. (Meaning, this giveaway is a no-go for those who love pizza, but aren’t ready to make a formal commitment to their significant other just yet, or already have).

The pizza bouquet and boutonniere, both hand-crafted by New York City food-stylist Jessie Bearden, will feature freshly prepared pizza dough, 100 percent whole milk mozzarella, fresh California tomatoes and zesty pepperoni, according to a press release.

This is the latest derivative of food-based bouquets made popular by couples, which means breadsticks bouquets and doughnut bouquets are gonna have a run for their money this wedding season!

Interested couples can visit this link starting today through June 15; the pizza chain will then randomly select a limited number of couples to receive the edible accessories free of charge for their wedding day.

And perhaps just as excitingly (and as an extra incentive!), all couples who register for the giveaway will receive a coupon for a free slice of Villa Italian Kitchen’s Neapolitan cheese pizza.
