Pit Bull Trying to Sneak Stuffie Into Mom’s Luggage Is the Sweetest Thing

Why is it so hard to leave your animals? It can be gut-wrenching. And we know they feel the same way too. Like one Pit Bull online, who was caught saying goodbye to their owner in the cutest way possible.

The 3-year-old Pit Bull mix from Georgia really loves her mama. So much so that she could tell her mom was going on a trip.

How do dogs always know when we're traveling? It's like they have a sixth sense when we're about to leave town. In this case, it seems like Miss Honey noticed the suitcase on the ground and put two and two together. So the Pit Bull brought out her favorite stuffie and placed it in her mom's luggage — ya' know, just in case mom suddenly had room for one more.

"Not my dog trying to pack her toy in my suitcase," Miss Honey's owner wrote in the video's onscreen caption.

"I wish I could bring you, Miss Honey!!!" she lamented in the caption.

Hmmm, to the comments section it sort of seems like mom needed to change her plans. "I'm gonna need this wherever WE'RE going" joked one person, as if speaking for Miss Honey. "Just packing the essentials," kidded someone else. "Bruh the way I'd cancel the whole vacation," one man chimed in. "Can't leave home without this ...or me," teased another commenter.

Easing Your Dog’s Separation Anxiety

This is probably the best way for your animal to say goodbye. But sometimes animals can get really clingy when you leave. In fact, if a dog's behavior starts to get concerning or is becoming a deterrent to you leaving the house, they might have separation anxiety.

Separation anxiety certainly is tricky. You obviously don't want your dog to suffer, but it can show up on even short trips like to the store or work. There are certain signs that your dog has separation anxiety, such as urination or defecation, barking or howling, chewing, digging, destruction, pacing, escaping, or Coprophagia, aka when dogs eat their own feces.

If you've eliminated other medical issues, it's fair enough to say that your dog might have separation anxiety. There are lots of methods to combat the condition, like making sure your dog has obedience training, ignoring your dog when you come back home, and consulting a behaviorist if things get really bad. Separation anxiety is fairly common, so if you have a hard time treating it at home make sure to consult your vet.
