The Royal Family is still showing their love for tennis as Wimbledon continued this weekend. While Meghan Markle attended last weekend with friends to watch Serena Williams’s match, she joined her sister-in-law Kate Middleton and Kate’s sister Pippa on Saturday.

Pippa made an unexpected appearance to watch the women’s singles final where Serena Williams ultimately lost her chance at what would have been a record-tying 24th Grand Slam title to Simona Halep. Kate arrived first at the match, wearing a green Dolce & Gabbana dress (previously seen on her during her tour of Canada in 2016). Before taking her seat, she had some royal duties to attend to, meeting with some of the junior players from Russia, Latvia and France.

Meghan followed next, wearing a white collared shirt and striped skirt by Hugo Boss. She sat in between Kate and Pippa in what was there first public appearance as a trio. Despite persistent rumors of a feud, Kate and Meghan spent the match smiling and chatting with one another.

This also marks a year since Kate and Meghan made their first appearance together without their husbands. While Meghan has been attending the annual tennis tournament for years, 2018 was her first year doing so as the Duchess of Sussex. Like Kate this year, Meghan then joined her new sister-in-law to meet with the junior players.

Serena Williams has recently been sticking up for her friend in the press and praised her for her friendship.

“I didn’t know there was negative media out there. Any time I see her name attached to anything, I don’t read it,” Williams told reporters when asked about Meghan. “She couldn’t be a better friend to me. Low moments, high moments, she’s always there, and that’s all I want to be to her.”
