The Meghan Markle Effect is everywhere, including Kate Middleton’s little sister’s wardrobe, apparently.

Meghan Markle and Pippa Middleton both attended a Christmas Carol Service in honor of Prince Harry’s late friend, Henry van Straubenzee, at St. Luke’s Church on Tuesday evening.

The Duchess of Sussex, accompanied by her Prince, put her growing baby bump on display in a conservative navy dress for the occasion.

Pippa, accompanied by her hedge fund manager husband James Matthews, arrived at the London charity event in a maroon French Connection coat with a fur collar (shop a similar style here), black tights, and navy blue pumps.

We couldn’t help but draw a comparison between Middleton’s seasonal look and a very similar outfit Markle wore just two weeks ago: maroon coat, matching dress with a velvet collar, black tights, and black booties. They both wore their hair up as well.

Though it’s unclear if there’s actually tension between the Dukes and Duchesses of Sussex and Cambridge, respectively, it seems Pippa is (at least sartorially) neutral.
