Sometimes women get pregnancy cravings that they end up despising after their baby is born — 30 years later, my mom still can’t eat watermelon! — and other times, the cravings never really stop. The latter happened to Ree Drummond (The Pioneer Woman). She shared that she is still craving this easy dinner two decades after being pregnant, and the sizzling food looks delightful!

“Sunday quesadillas.❤️” Drummond captioned a post on Instagram. She begins by seasoning raw chicken, then cooking it in oil and butter in a saucepan. From there, she chops onions, grates cheese, and prepares other ingredients to stuff the quesadillas with. When the sizzling chicken is golden brown and thoroughly cooked, she cuts it up. It then goes on a tortilla on the pan and is filled with your chosen toppings. She places another tortilla on top and flips it once the tortilla is golden brown.

All that’s left to do is cut it into triangles and serve with salsa, green sauce, and/or sour cream!

“His (cheese & chicken),” she continued, referring to her husband Ladd Drummond’s preferred quesadilla. The duo shares daughters Alex, 26, and Paige, 24, and sons Bryce, 21, and Todd, 20. “and mine (cheese, chicken, caramelized onions, Cholula, spicy avocado crema).”

“My pregnancy craving from 20 years ago never went away.,” she continued. “Whose quesadillas would you choose? (Say mine…)” I love how Drummond demonstrates how simple this recipe is, no matter how you put the actual quesadillas together at the end of the day. (BTW, Drummond’s definitely looks better to me!)

“Yummy I choose yours, but I would certainly like his as well!!!” one person commented. Someone else wrote, “Definitely yours and I am not just saying that! I love alot of toppings and dips to go with mine. 😍”

“Both! Yummm!! 😉😍” someone else wrote, and we totally agree. Why limit yourself to just one flavor?

Even your kids will love this tasty, yet simple dinner. But if they don’t, introduce them to Drummond’s Savory Breakfast Monkey Bread recipe. “When it comes to breakfast, this monkey bread truly is the complete package,” she said in a previous video. “I think you’re gonna fall in love instantly.”
