‘Pioneer Woman’ Fans Can’t Stop Talking About Ree Drummond’s Rare Pic of Her Husband

Fans love to hear Ree Drummond talk about her family on The Pioneer Woman, and her most recent picture with husband Ladd gave everyone a rare glimpse at their sweet relationship.

In a new post uploaded to the Food Network star's Instagram, she posed for a selfie with her husband of 26 years. With the sun shining behind them, Ree smiled at the camera while wearing a jean jacket and orange gingham top. Ladd leaned in while sporting his own dark wash jean jacket, blue collar button down shirt and a classic cowboy hat. But it turns out that the heartfelt moment also came with a hilarious caveat, as Ree explained that she was helping him out on the Drummond ranch since their kids — Alex, Paige, Bryce and Todd — were no longer living at home.

"Kids please come back, Dad’s making me go to work with him now," she wrote on May 2. She also joked about being alone with Ladd, using the hashtags "empty nest," "no filter," "yesterday's mascara" and "okay bye."

When Pioneer Woman fans saw that Ree shared the surprise snapshot, they expressed how much they enjoyed seeing them together on their Oklahoma land. What's more, some even teased them about being home without their children.

"So, this is what it's come to ha! I'd wondered how your world would shift as those kids left the nest one by one. Love your posts when they were young and Ladd had them all out hustling!" one person commented on Instagram. "Great photo of you two," another follower wrote. "Y'all look dang good going to work!" a different user added.

This isn't the only time fans have seen Ree show off her love life on social media in the last few months. The twosome attended a wedding at the end of January, just two weeks after Todd left for college at the University of South Dakota. Because they were all dolled up, she documented it for her followers.

"Empty Nest, Day 14: Ladd and I went to a wedding," she wrote on January 30. "He looked handsome and had beer in a glass! Okay, bye!"

Needless to say, Ree and Ladd seem to be doing just fine on their own!
