Ree Drummond left fans wondering what happened to her after showcasing a painful-looking finger injury in a recent social media video.

In the clip, which was shared via Instagram on Sunday, Feb. 11, the Pioneer Woman displayed her index, pinky, and one of her thumb fingers neatly painted with burgundy nail polish, before putting the other thumb, which was noticeably banged up, in the camera's view.

The TV personality didn't take herself too seriously, though, choosing a comical audio from a Saturday Night Live skit to go along with the video.

"My hand modeling career might need to wait a couple more days…" the upload was captioned.

No further details were offered at the time, however, based on her attitude about the injury, it seems she's already on the mend, as the clip made it seem as if it was no big deal. Still, her fans were caught off guard after seeing her bruised and cut-up nail and quickly took to the comment section to inquire about how it happened.

"AAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! My god I was not prepared. 😭," one top-liked comment read, clearly showing signs that several others agreed.

"😲That looks like that hurts ❤️‍🩹," wrote another, as a third said, "The shock factor is always so real with you 😆. Hope it feels better soon!"

"Yikes. That was a jump scare," an additional social media user admitted.

One, on the other hand, took the opportunity to offer a word of advice regarding a potential healing treatment: "Ouch!! Tea tree oil will get that nail back to normal fast! 💅🏼."

Still no word on how the injury came about, but here's to hoping it doesn't cause Drummond too much pain!
