Pink's Husband Carey Hart Shares Honest Opinion on Wife's Songs About Him

Pink's husband Carey Hart doesn't mind being the subject of her songs.

Hart made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show on May 4, where the host asked him how he felt about so many songs off Pink's latest album Trustfall being about him and their marriage.

"She wrote a number of songs about you, and I had this to say when I asked her how you felt about those songs," said Kelly Clarkson, before showing a clip from Pink's time on the show, where the singer shared how she thinks Carey's taken it.

"Well, you have to take in Carey's amount of feelings he can handle, and how much he's actually thinking about the words that I'm saying, or listening at all," said Pink in the pre-recorded clip.

"I think he's fine. There's one on the new album that's um…that was a hard day and I played it for him because it's fair, he should know what's being said about him in the world and he just started giggling and went, 'Well, you're welcome,'" she said, seemingly referring to the track "Hate Me."

Hart confirmed his wife's assessment, saying, "Yeah, that's very accurate. We've been together for 21 years. I have very thick skin. Very little affects me."

He joked, "I don't know what day she's talking about specifically but it's probably just the temperature."

Trustfall isn't the first time Pink's written about Hart. She famously wrote her 2008 hit "So What" about her temporary separation from Hart. The motocross racer didn't seem to mind, even appearing in the music video for the song.
