Pink Stars in People's Beautiful Issue Alongside Her Two Kids

People has announced the cover star of it's annual Beautiful issue, and it's already making history.
Pink is on the cover of the 2018 edition, accompanied by two of her biggest fans, her kids! It's not her first time being featured, though. She made both the 2013 and 2014 lists, though this is the first time she's being featured prominently in the spread. The singer, daughter Willow Sage, 6, and son Jamesom Moon, 15 months, follow 2017's cover star Julia Roberts as the 2018 stars, and describing the cover image as adorable is certainly an understatement.

While the news of Pink's cover is certainly exciting, this isn't the only new part of the honor. While the decades-old magazine issue has always been called some variation of People's "Most Beautiful" issue, the magazine is shaking things up going forward. From now on, the issue will be called "The Beautiful Issue" in order to clarify that it is not a competition to be won.
The magazine announced the news the day before with a statement.

"Over the years the name of the issue has evolved ('50 Most Beautiful,' 'Most Beautiful Woman,' etc.), but the words 'Most Beautiful' have always been part of the title. This year we’re renaming it 'The Beautiful Issue'—to make clear that the issue is not a beauty contest," editor Jess Cagle wrote.
"Nothing else has changed. As always it will feature beautiful women (and a few men) of all shapes, sizes and colors, and it will celebrate the most beautiful qualities of all: strength, humanity and artistry."
