  • Pink clapped back at a troll who criticized her body on Twitter.

  • Fans quickly came to her defense.

  • This isn’t the first time the artist has proudly stood her ground in the name of self-love and self-empowerment.

As an artist who’s known for her raw, candid lyrics, P!nk isn’t afraid to sing — or speak — her mind. That’s why she had no issue calling out a hater on Twitter who, in sharing a photo of her onstage, wrote that she doesn’t have “child-bearing hips.”

The tweet, shared on April 24, pictured Pink performing in a crop top and low-rise jeans (showing off her incredible abs). In response, Pink quoted the tweet — which was written by a user named Stew — for everyone to see and wrote: “Oh, Stewie. Stewie Stewie Stewie. You’ve got too much free time. 🤡.”

Fans quickly came to the singer’s defense. “Indeed those are not ‘child-bearing hips, those are ‘boss mom hips!’” one person wrote. “When Stew finds out you have a child his mind gonna be blown… 🤯,” another added. “Pink is a phenomenal vocalist and ace performer. More importantly, she’s an exceptional mother,” someone else wrote.

Pink and her husband, Carey Hart, have two kids, Willow, 11, and Jameson, 6. Pink teaches them to embrace and believe in themselves by being unashamed of her own self-love.

In 2020, she shared a photo of herself surfing and celebrating her “thunder thighs,” and recently, she put her new hobby of tennis to the test with her first tournament. “I WENT PRO LIKE I SAID I WOULD,” she captioned a photo of her on the court, playing in a charity event. “Manifest that s--- y’all. If you wanna be the oldest loudest and slowest player on the court — THIS TOO CAN BE YOU.”

At the 2017 MTV Music Awards, she took the stage to stand up against her and her daughter’s bullies, who’ve criticized them for being too “masculine” looking. “Baby girl, we don’t change,” she announced. “We take the gravel in the shell and we make a pearl. And we help other people to change so that they can see more kinds of beauty.”

The star clearly hasn’t let haters get in her way up to this point, and she doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. She recently accepted the 2023 iHeart Radio Music Icon Award and shared a photo with her kids to honor the occasion.

“How could I be anything but grateful? For my team, my friends, my kids, (the absolute dream dates), my fellow performers,” she wrote. “And [for] all my friends around the world for the decades of love and memories. We’re just getting started y’all. All love. All gratitude, and all female badassery all around.”
