Pink Highlights the Difference Between Firstborns & Second-Borns in a Cute New Video & We Can’t Stop Laughing

Many firstborn children are perfect angels, which is nature’s way of tricking parents into having another baby (“This whole parenting thing is easy!” they’re probably thinking). Little do these unsuspecting people know, but baby number two will be a wild, demon-child who will make you question everything you thought you knew (or so I’ve heard…).  Pink showed the difference between firstborns and second-borns in a funny new video, and it is spot on!

Firstborns & Second-Borns

“First born Vs Second born,” the “So What” singer captioned a new video on Instagram. Pink and her daughter Willow, 12, are on stage singing together during Pink’s Summer Carnival Tour. Then, the camera pans over to show Pink’s second child, 7-year-old Jameson. He’s set up backstage, dressed casually in tie-dye shorts and a black-and-white hoodie with ear protection on. He’s leaning all the way back in a folding chair, drinking water from a bottle held up by his mouth only. (It’s giving, “Look Ma, no hands!” and also, major little brother vibes.)

“🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 #summercarnivaltour,” Pink captioned the cute video.

Many people could relate. Mom of 3 Reese Witherspoon commented, “😂😂😂.” Andy Cohen, dad of two, wrote, “HAHAHAH.”

“’Mooo-om can we go now?’ 😂” someone else imagined Jameson thinking. “Haha damn right. Second borns are made different 😂😂,” another person wrote.

“Hahaha 😂 This is pure gold! Made my day 😂❤️,” another commented.

Someone else brought up another very good point: “🤣🤣🤣 I think it’s more girl vs boy.” That also could play a huge factor!

Being a Mom

Pink shares Willow and Jameson with husband Carey Hart. In Feb. 2023, the “All Out of Fight” singer shared that people within the music industry discouraged her from having kids. “Everyone told me, ‘If you have children right now, your career’s over,’” she said in an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, per PEOPLE.

“Obviously, we’re all much more complex than any of that, but when I had a child, I think it softened me to the world, the part that didn’t understand me,” she explained. “And I think that’s when my career began, really. I mean, I did a lot of stuff before that, but really, truly, I think it’s when I started to really understand myself and understand the world and my place in it.”

She added, “I love writing songs. I love singing songs. I love performing. Sitting with a guitar is one of my favorite things I’ll ever do, but cuddling with my babies and taking them camping and being dirty for three days is also one of the coolest things I’ll ever do.”

And while Pink loves bringing her kids with her on tour, she always listens to their needs first. She told Drew Barrymore on The Drew Barrymore Show, “I don’t know most of the time what’s going to happen the next day, but I plan ahead a lot, and I get to take them through the world, and I have a really good support system.” She continued, “They’re also awesome travelers; they’re good kids. If it didn’t work for them, we wouldn’t be able to do it. I’m so lucky to be able to take them on tour.”

“Willow and I talk about almost everything; we have a great relationship,” she shared. “I told her, I said, ‘I know you have things you want to do, and also this isn’t just my job. I worked really hard for this. There’s a handful of people that get to do this, and I’m good at it and I care about it very much, and I think in a small way I help people, I hope. But that doesn’t mean it means more than your childhood or what you mean to me.”

“I’ll walk away tomorrow; if that’s what you want, I’ll walk away tomorrow,’” she added.
