Pink’s Daughter Wrote Her the Cutest Note About Her Walk of Fame Ceremony

Pink’s daughter is her biggest fan. During a chat on the February 6 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Pink revealed the sweet message seven-year-old Willow shared with her as the singer accepted a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Pink brought her family to the February 5 ceremony, which celebrated the “Beautiful Trauma” performer’s contributions to the music industry. And while she admitted that the event was slightly uncomfortable since she “hates compliments,” she didn’t mind the extra love from her family.

In addition to flowers from husband Carey Hart, she received a note from Willow that said, “Mama, this is a big deal. And I’m glad it’s you and not Justin Beaver.” (Sorry, Bieber!)

“I was like, that is so random — how does she even know?” Pink told DeGeneres. “It was cute. I was like, ‘This must be a big deal.'”

The honor came just a few days ahead of the 2019 Grammys, where Pink is nominated for the 20th time. “Every time I lose, Carey makes me a tinfoil Grammy,” she told DeGeneres. “So this will be my 17th tinfoil Grammy on Sunday.”

Regardless of this year’s outcome, Pink is sure to have more chances to win in the future. She has another album, Hurts to Be Human, due out later this year, likely in April, and a new single, “Walk Me Home,” set to drop in the next couple of weeks.

She gave DeGeneres a little preview of the song, which includes the lyrics: “Walk me home in the dead of night / I can’t be alone with all this on my mind / Say you’ll stay with me tonight / Because there is so much wrong going on outside.”
