Long gone are the days when choosing a can of soda was just deciding between something fruity or cola-flavored—now the two flavors are being combined into one. Pepsi has been making a bunch of fruit-flavored colas in recent years, and the latest flavor to hit the market is pineapple.

Besides vanilla and cherry Pepsi, the brand launched berry, lime, and mango Pepsis in April of 2019. These drinks are the classic Pepsi cola with a splash of fruit juice added to give the drink some sweet flavor but not so much that it overpowers each sip.

Now, a pineapple version is hitting U.S. shelves, but it may be hard to find. Pepsi pineapple comes in the same blue cans and eight-count packs as the classics, but it is made with a splash of pineapple juice. This version of the soda will be a Walmart exclusive. According to PEOPLE, this Pepsi became popular after its release in 2019 in Japan, although it's unclear if this Walmart exclusive version is the same recipe.

Pineapple Pepsi is also replacing the lime Pepsi flavor that is currently available, so if you're a fan of those you should stock up before it leaves shelves for good. Like most limited-time flavors, there is always a chance that lime will return to stores at a later date. For a more refreshing soda experience, fruit-flavored Pepsis are a no-brainer, and with the official start of summer right around the corner, pineapple-flavored anything is always a good choice.
