Pillsbury’s original Funfetti vanilla cake mix came out in 1989 — yes, that was 30 years go. For the first time since then, the brand has launched two new types of the speckled dessert: Funfetti Unicorn and Funfetti Galaxy.

The Funfetti Strawberry Cake & Cupcake Mix has yellow and purple candy bits, and the matching Unicorn Funfetti frosting is vanilla with purple and pink unicorns, yellow stars, and blue sprinkles. All in favor of having this cake at their next birthday?!

The other new baking mix, Funfetti Galaxy, was released in time for the moon landing’s 50th anniversary. The mix is a yellow cake with blue and purple candy bits. The Space Blue Vanilla frosting comes with yellow stars, orange moons, silver rocket ships, and white sprinkles.

The Funfetti Unicorn and Funfetti Galaxy mixes and frostings will be permanent offerings from Pillsbury Baking. They are being rolled out in grocery stores across the country and will be available at major retailers nationwide by September, a rep for the brand confirmed to Best Products.

We love how colorful the new Funfetti cakes are, and the sprinkle shapes make them even better! Clearly, we’re going to have a tough time choosing which one to make first.
