Baking sure is fun, but sometimes you may not feel like turning on the oven. That's especially true on a hot summer day, which is one reason why we were so thankful when Pillsbury began adding "eat or bake" labels to its ready-to-bake cookie dough earlier this year to indicate it's now officially safe to eat straight from the package.

If you prefer your desserts cooked, today is your lucky day. The iconic brand just dropped new ready-to-eat snack bars, and they come in both birthday cake and brownie flavors. Confetti sprinkles are baked right into the birthday cake bars, and vanilla icing is drizzled on top. With chocolate fudge drizzled across the top, the brownie bars look chocolatey enough to please even the most intense chocolate lover.

Each package comes with six bars, and each bar has only 100 calories and 4 grams of fat. Instagrammer @nitrous.powered.snacks found both flavors at ShopRite, where they were on sale for $3.69 each. Are these the best new way to eat a balanced breakfast without breaking the bank?

If cookie dough is more of your thing, Pillsbury recently released two new flavors, which can be eaten raw or baked. Confetti Sugar Cookie Dough features sugar cookies packed full of rainbow sprinkles, while Reese's Peanut Butter Cookie Dough is inspired by your favorite candy bar. Oh, and in case you were wondering, Pillsbury's brownie dough has also been designated "eat or bake." Oh, what a world!
