  • Jessica Chastain was out and about wearing a cute, pink minidress, sky-high heels, and a blazer this week outside of the studio for her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

  • The 45-year-old actress's chic outfit showed off her long, super-strong legs.

  • Jessica follows a vegan diet and has said that working out gives her confidence.

As October weather sets in, it might be getting a little colder outside, but summery colors and short crops are still a go for some of Hollywood's A-listers.

Example A: Jessica Chastain just went on Jimmy Kimmel Live and she brought her mega-toned legs along for the ride. The George & Tammy star was photographed outside the studio in a vintage-style, pink minidress dress with a flouncy hem, matching pink jacket, and strong legs for days that poured into sky-high heels.

During her appearance, the 45-year-old ended up working at a Spirit Halloween shop that popped up in her dressing room on the show, and the skit is hilarious. Check it out:

Okay, now about those legs… Jessica told Shape last year that she did celebrity-beloved Torch’d workouts by Isaac Boots with her grandmother during the height of the pandemic. “It was such a breath of sanity during that time to do it every morning with my grandma,” she said. “And she really helped me be accountable.”

She said she still does the workouts a few times a week, along with power yoga classes online. “That helps clear my head,” she shared.

For Jessica, exercise has important mental health benefits, too. “Working out gives me confidence. It's the sense of being proud of myself,” she said. “The starting point of exercise is always difficult for me—finding the time and quiet space and feeling that I've got a million other things I need to do. But once I finish, I immediately feel like a superhero.”

On the food front, Jessica is a vegan—something she hilariously joked about during a W Magazine interview. She said she worries her Italian in-laws “hate” her over the diet choice. “In the beginning, I would say I’m vegan. Which is like the worst thing,” she said. “I would say, ‘I’m sorry I can’t eat that,’ and [my mother-in-law] would say, ‘No problem, we have fish.’”

Jessica said she sort of stumbled into veganism. “A friend of mine had a two week vegan food delivery program she wasn’t going to use so I used it, and immediately I just had more energy than I’ve ever had in my life,” she told W. “Being vegan was not anything I ever wanted to be. I just really was listening to what my body was telling me.”

BTW: Jessica told WSJ Magazine that she starts her mornings with a chai tea latte with soy milk and a shot of espresso. “It’s an everyday thing,” she said.
