This pic of Beyoncé as a little girl proves Blue Ivy looks just like her mama

Seems like yesterday we were talking about the ultra-fine Ms. Tina Knowles-Lawson and her awesome Instagram skills. From admirable philanthropic efforts to #couplegoals, she’s given us a bit of everything. And she’s blessed us again with the ultimate throwback of Beyoncé looking a lot like Blue Ivy.

In the IG photo, we see a young, adorable Beyoncé sitting in a chair at the hair salon getting her braids done. Though it’s only a profile shot of the singer, there’s no denying the uncanny resemblance. Ms. Tina added the caption:

The lovely folks in the comments section of the photo were quick to agree with Tina’s caption, writing, “Omg thought it was blue!” “Twins!” another said.

Over the years, fans on social media and even Beyoncé herself have said that Blue looked just like her daddy, Jay-Z. Back in 2012, R&B singer Melanie Fiona told Us Weekly that when Blue was a baby, she closely resembled the rapper. “Beyoncé says Blue changes every day and looks just like Jay now,” she said.

But this latest picture proves that the 5 year old is the perfect combination of both her superstar parents.

And this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Blue looking more like Bey than Jay. In May of 2015, mama Beyoncé posted this side-by-side photo. One half of the photo shows baby Bey with her mom, and the other an almost mirror image of Blue Ivy standing next to her mama.

For us, it doesn’t matter which parent Blue Ivy looks like on any given day, this little girl is absolutely precious. And apparently, a wonderful big sister, too. Mama Knowles-Lawson told Us Weekly that Blue is always “excited” to help look after her new brother and sister, and even picks out their outfits.

“She feeds them,” Knowles-Lawson added. “And she feels responsible for them being here because she prayed for them.”

Now, if that isn’t the sweetest thing ever!
