The Balmain Fashion Show Was Kris Jenner's First Ever

Despite all of her worldliness, we learned something new about Kris Jenner last night. “This is the first fashion show that I’ve ever been to,” she confessed to Yahoo Style at the Balmain after-party. “I was telling Olivier [Rousteing], ‘I am so excited that your show is my first show because I felt like a princess.’ It was an amazing experience and Kendall was walking the show and I got to sit front row, and they dressed me, and I’m in Paris. I had one of the best days of my life.”

And a good day it was, marking the matriarch’s first outing since filing her divorce, and though Kim and Kanye were long gone from the chic fete at Le Marois, Jenner was clearly having a delightful time. “I’m sitting here and getting a chance to think about how great Kendall did for the first time today,” she said. “I’m so proud.”

Ever the pro, she brushed off the day’s earlier media scrum (when Kim was jostled by a ravenous crowd). “It was a little nuts, but you know, we’re here. We made it. We’re inParis until the end of fashion week. We want to go to Givenchy and Chanel.” Soon she was off again, this time to hit the dance floor with Kendall while fellow catwalkers Issa Lish, Hanne Gaby Odiele, and Kasia Struss bopped along nearby. Oh to be young and free!
