This photo of Melania Trump gardening is Twitter's new favorite meme
The internet is a very weird place— the kind of place where someone can be mocked for a 10-month old photo. Maybe it's more likely to happen because, in this case, that person is the First Lady of the United States Melania Trump, and she's dressed like someone pretending to be a farmer.

The September 2017 photo of Trump digging around the White House garden — founded by her FLOTUS predecessor Michelle Obama — while dressed in a $1,300 Balmain shirt and clean sneakers is making the rounds again on Twitter where it's become a bit of a meme.

Even Chrissy Teigen got in on the jokes, noting that Melania's shoes were pretty spotless for someone hanging out in the White House garden.

The internet, it seems, will never pass up a chance for some fun at the expense of the Trump family's always awkward photo opps.
Photographer: pose!
Melanie: how?
P: Like you know nothing about gardening.
M: lol got it. pic.twitter.com/799qrTnMLn— Dave Weasel (@DaveWeasel) July 30, 2018
This is a photo of Melania threatening someone with gardening sheers if they don't send her back to her home planet. Right? pic.twitter.com/8nZriXuwyb

Photog: sorry, but wha-?
Melania: I am the duck. Gardens filled with ducks, yes? See the little scissor? That is the Duck’s face.
P: So...kay. So uh what’s your favorite part of gardening?
M: The basket. I will indicate it. Kwak!
P: a little more off-balance aaand...good. pic.twitter.com/1XrqmcKuta— Garrard Whatley (@garrardwhatley) July 31, 2018
It certainly says something about the online environment where all it takes is a few tweets to get something spinning, no matter what the context is — namely, that we're all hungry for content and are willing to get in on the schadenfreude, especially when a Trump is involved.
At least her shoes were sensible, though.
