This will put a smile on your face: Hoda Kotb shared an incredibly sweet picture of her former Today co-host Kathie Lee Gifford meeting her new baby daughter, Hope Catherine. "Lookie who came to say hi!!! Xoxo," Kotb wrote alongside the photo, which offers a snapshot of Gifford visiting Kotb and family at home.

In the picture, Gifford is cradling Kotb's infant daughter while Kotb has her arm around her two-year-old daughter Haley Joy. “Xoxo @kathielgifford ❤️❤️ love you kath xx” Kotb ended her caption.

Kotb announced in April (live on Today, no less!) that she and partner Joel Schiffman had decided to expand their family and adopt another baby. “I just can’t believe how, in a blink, life changes, and all of a sudden there are two babies in this house. I’m just overwhelmed with joy,” Kotb said of raising two girls.

May is turning out to be a joyful month all around for Kotb and Gifford. Over the weekend, the pair won a Daytime Emmy Award in the Informative Talk Show Host category. Gifford left Today in April after 11 years at the show, explaining that the 2015 death of her husband Frank Gifford had changed her perspective.

"After my husband passed, you really realize that you're gonna run out of time," she explained on the The Tonight Show. "He didn't know that morning he was running out of time. And then my mom passed, as well... I realized just recently that I'm in a state where I never dreamed I'd be. I'm a widow, I'm an orphan, and I'm an empty nester and that just hit me like a ton of bricks. For the first time in my life, I have the time and the means to go and do anything I want to do."

And that "anything," we hope, includes plenty of more one-on-one time with Hotb and her girls.
