Phoebe Dynevor is officially exiting Netflix's Bridgerton.

According to sources, the actress — who played Daphne Basset in the first two seasons and appeared in only five episodes in the second — is leaving the hit series as she has fulfilled her contractual obligations. She revealed in an interview with Screenrant, however, that there is a possibility she may appear in future seasons. Her character joins her husband Simon Bassett, the Duke of Hastings, off-screen after actor Regé-Jean Page left the show following the first season.

The upcoming season of the popular series will focus on Nicola Coughlan's Penelope Featherington, who decides to find a new husband after giving up on Luke Newton's Colin Bridgerton.

Elsewhere in entertainment, Netflix's live-action One Piece is premiering this 2023.
