There are also several interesting lots from Patek Philippe, ranging from a Perpetual Calendar Chronograph first-series ref. 2499 in 18-karat yellow gold to a third-series ref. 2499 with a Beyer dial signature in 18-karat yellow gold and a Chronograph ref. 1463 with Breguet numerals in stainless steel. Still, the most exceptional offering from Patek is one of the rarest sport watches ever produced by the brand. The Nautilus ref. 3700 in platinum is just one of three known examples and the first without diamond indexes or bezel. This will also mark the first time this model has ever been offered at auction.

Last but certainly not least, The Geneva Watch Auction: XVIII will also showcase a number of timepieces from independent makers like F.P. Journe, Philippe Dufour, Kari Voutilainen, and Roger Smith, as well as the legendary George Daniels. The Anniversary N° 1 in platinum is one of only four ever created and represents a piece of horological history.

The selection of timepieces up for sale at The Geneva Watch Auction: XVIII will be on tour in New York from September 29 through October 1 before traveling to Hong Kong, Riyadh, Singapore and London. Previews will also be available in Geneva in the days leading up to the auction. For more information and to register to bid, head over to Phillips’ website.
