Philadelphia Flyers Mascot Hanging Out with Zoo Animals Is Too Cute to Miss

Gritty is the official mascot of the Philadelphia Flyers and standing at seven feet tall, with non-blinking googly eyes and covered head to toe in orange fur, he's the sort of creature you don't soon forget once you see him. Which is why we can't help wonder what the zoo animals thought when Gritty paid a visit to them on October 18.

The hilarious video, shared by the TikTok account for @philadelphiazoo, has everyone totally jealous of the beloved mascot.

@Kristyn comments, "Gritty is living the life I want." @Olivia replies, "Okay, this took enrichment to a whole new level for these zoo animals!" @Dudette adds, "I love everything that Gritty does. Gritty can do no wrong."

@Star hilariously says, "The big cats don't know what gritty is but they really wanna eat him to find out." @Midnight responds, "Big kitties just see a big squeaky toy!" @Cama adds, "The snow leopard absolutely deserves a plush version of Gritty." We think with the way these big cats were following Gritty, they'd love nothing more than wrestling him around!

Now that we'd love to see!

The Philadelphia Zoo is currently celebrating Boo at the Zoo and guests can celebrate spooky season by trick or treating, seeing seasonal decorations and seeing what fun Halloween enrichment the animals are participating in.You can find ticket information at the link above.

It's always so cool when zoos decide to do enrichment activities for their animals, and we can't help but think that the animal care team had a blast with Gritty too.
