The Manning family is one of the most — if not the. most. — famous football families there is. Although the Kelces are certainly giving them a run for their money. Arch Manning will have to start dating an international pop star soon if he wants to keep up with Travis Kelce!

Anyhoo! (Focus, Swiftie, focus!)

This week, Peyton Manning brought his son Marshall and four of his friends onto ManningCast — the football show he hosts with brother Eli Manning — giving us a glimpse into 12-year-old Marshall’s possible future.

Peyton had the five tweens demonstrate how the San Francisco 49ers use pre-snap movement to confuse other teams’ defense. He gave directions to each kid, having them move around the studio (see the video HERE). It not only helped viewers visualize the play, but it was also an early look at what Marshall might look like on an NFL O-line one day. If he decides to join the family business, of course.

“We got a shift, we got an explode, and we got a hop, and we haven’t even snapped the ball yet, Eli. I’m tired, I know the [Minnesota] Vikings will be exhausted just seeing that,” Peyton said.

And they’re not the only ones. Marshall and his friends looked like they were about to fall asleep too. In typical tween fashion, it seemed like they couldn’t care less. Because apparently no matter how famous your dad is, and if you get the cool opportunity to be on national television, it’s decidedly uncool to be seen helping him out.

Sorry, Peyt!

“Go do your homework, boys. Good job,” Peyton said, letting the boys leave.

“You yell at your players like that?” Eli joked with his older brother. “You yell at them all the time?”

The whole thing reminded viewers of a Saturday Night Live sketch that Peyton starred in nearly a decade ago. And it still has fans rolling. In it, Peyton volunteers with United Way as a mentor to a group of young kids. He starts to play some football with them, but the two-time Super Bowl winner is way too serious, hitting kids in the head with the ball.

“Get your head out of your a**,” he said to one, making the audience erupt in laughter. “You suck.”

Ok, so shooing them off stage is not nearly as bad as subjecting them to 20 minutes in a porta potty like he did with one of the SNL kids.

Peyton is also dad to Marshall’s twin sister Mosley — who he shares with wife Ashley — and we’re formally requesting a ManningCast appearance from her this season too. Please and thank you!
