Pets of the Week for April 30, 2024

Chico

Chico is a favorite among the staff members and volunteers at Metro Animal Care and Control. He is a great mix of snuggly and energetic, and is great at reading your energy level and getting into that mode. Chico loves to get outside and explore and looks forward to daily walks. He is a very smart dog who will do well in the right home. Chico is about eight years old and weighs 60 pounds. Email adopt.macc@nashville.gov

Midnight

Midnight is a friendly girl who enjoys lounging outside. She has tagged along on several events, getting a thrill at spending some time outside the shelter. When Midnight joins on adventures, she rides well in the car and remains calm in lots of settings. She loves getting to know everyone and makes friends everywhere she goes. Almond

If you’re looking for a calm, gentle and sweet dog, Almond would love to come home with you. Almond is great on the leash, rarely pulling during her walks with staff members and volunteers at the shelter. She likes to stop every so often on walks to check and make sure you are enjoying yourself as much as she is, and will always accept a belly rub. Almond is about five years old and weighs 59 pounds. Bartholomew

Bartholomew, known as Bart at the shelter, is a big fella with a big heart and lots of love to share. He gets a lot of energy out during his daily walks. Once the walk is over, he is all about resting and relaxing. Bartholomew can sit for a treat and has shown he is ready to learn more. He is about eight years old and weighs 57 pounds. Cici

Cici will draw you in with his beautiful green eyes and keep you around with lots of snuggles. He is very soft and likes being up high, getting a good vantage point of his surroundings. Cici is about three years old and weighs 11 pounds. Email adopt.macc@nashville.gov
