Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan Are Instagram Official—And Barb Has a Lot of Feelings About It
After weeks of Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan's quarantining together but insisting they weren't a couple, the Bachelor couple finally made their relationship status official on Instagram.
On Saturday, May 2, Weber shared a photo of the pair on a romantic helicopter ride, writing in the caption "You caught me. Let the adventure begin."
But, wait, he wasn't done. On Friday, May 1, Flanagan posted a throwback pic from simpler times (August) when she attended a Kygo concert and the musician wrote, "Pilot Pete, don't be dumb. Pick Kelley!" on her lanyard. Weber later commented on the photo, "I finally got it right," with a heart-eye emoji.
Obviously, fans had mixed reactions—with all the snarking between Weber and his ex Madison Prewett lately, some people remain skeptical of the new couple. Still, no one could possibly be as thrilled as Weber's very outspoken mom Barbra Weber.
As Barb is wont to do, she posted her own Instagram even before her son got the chance. Earlier on May 1, Barb posted a very momlike collage with photos of Weber and Kelley from their time on The Bachelor, and even included a little rose for good measure. "Serendipity," she captioned the Instagram.
Even more of her feelings came out when fans started commenting on the post, giving her a chance to let everyone know how much she likes Flanagan. “She had a maturity & class that stood out above the rest,” one commenter wrote. Barbra replied, “Absolutely.” Flanagan responded to the post with a heart.
She's not the only family member who is on the Peter and Kelley train. Weber's dad also took some time to make his own little collage, with photos of the couple's recent flying trip, and wrote, "Happiness is finding your copilot."
"Love is in the air,” Barb replied in the comments.
Seems like the whole family has given Flanagan their stamp of approval. Barbra had not so subtly hinted that she'd been less excited about Weber's previous relationship with Prewett, whom he dated briefly after breaking off his engagement with Hannah Ann Sluss.
Sure enough, if you go back to Flanagan's Instagram posts from the season finale, Barb was lobbying for her for a while. "The Most Beautiful, Elegant, Classy, Intelligent Stylish Girl in the world!!! You were and will always be my Fav rav," she commented under one photo of Flanagan.
"We need to do lunch and go shopping for the day," she wrote under another.
As for anyone who doubts their relationship, Weber and Flanagan have already made their opinions on that very clear.
