When it comes to his relationships, Pete Davidson has had to do a lot of explaining on SNL. When he and his ex-fiancée, Ariana Grande, split last fall, he made more than one joke on the late-night sketch show about the relationship and public breakup. And now that the 25-year-old is with 45-year-old Kate Beckinsale, he’s doing it again. Last night, Davidson went on “Weekend Update” to address the rumors about the 20-year age difference with one zinger in particular.

“So if you have questions about a relationship with a big age difference, just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, Jason Statham, Michael Douglas, Richard Gere, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Disick, Dane Cook, Derek Jeter, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn and whoever the president of France is. Mel Gibson, Billy Joel, Mick Jagger, Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Kelsey Grammer, he listed. “Larry King, Larry King, Larry King, Rod Stewart and Donald Trump.”

Last Sunday, the couple debuted their relationship at a Madison Square Garden hockey game where they played a little hockey of their own-tonsil hockey, that is (why, yes, that was a Dad Joke, thanks for asking).

“Kate’s very into Pete,” a source told E! at the time. “You wouldn’t necessarily put them together, but it’s working for now. She’s excited about getting to know him and hoping to spend more time with him.”

Well, now the whole thing is SNL official, so it looks like it’s really, actually happening.
