Pete Davidson is prioritizing his mental health.

On June 28, Page Six reported that the Bupkis creator had entered rehab to seek help regarding borderline personality disorder and PTSD.

An insider told the publication, "Pete regularly goes to rehab for ‘tune ups’ and to take a mental break, so that’s what’s happening.”

People also confirmed this report, noting a source shared that the 29-year-old comedian often checks into rehab in order to "work on these issues."

The confidante also added, "His friends and family have been supportive during this time."

However, it's said Davidson "should be getting out pretty soon."

Parade has reached out to Davidson's rep and has not heard back.

Davidson was previously diagnosed with borderline personality disorder in 2017. Regarding his mental health struggles before being diagnosed, the Saturday Night Live alum shared on Marc Maron's WTF podcast, "I started having these mental breakdowns where I would, like, freak out and then not remember what happened after. Blind rage.”

After seeking help and briefly getting sober from marijuana, Davidson learned he had BPD. "One of my psychiatrists [diagnosed me]," he shared at the time. "He was always saying before this big meltdown, ‘You’re probably bipolar or borderline, we’re just going to have to figure it out.'”

This latest mental health update comes amid a handful of controversial months for the actor. Back in June, Davidson apologized for leaving PETA executive Daphna Nachminovitch a heated voicemail after she criticized his decision to purchase a new dog.

"I haven't seen my mom and sister cry like that in over 20 years. I was trying to cheer up my family. I was already upset that the store had filmed me without my permission or acknowledgment. Then this organization (PETA) made a public example of us, making our grieving situation worse," he said in a statement. "I am upset. It was a poor choice of words. I shouldn't have said what I said, but I am not sorry for standing up for myself and my family."

Davidson was also recently charged with one misdemeanor count of reckless driving after he and girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders were involved in a car crash in Beverly Hills, Calif. earlier this year.

A spokesperson for the L.A. County District Attorney's Office told People in a statement, "We believe that Mr. Davidson engaged in reckless driving, which ultimately resulted in his involvement in a serious collision into a home."

The spokesperson continued, "Luckily, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision. We know that reckless driving can have devastating consequences."
