Another day, another lady. According to multiple reports, Pete Davidson and Madelyn Cline are dating—and while we can’t say we saw this one coming, there’s also no use acting surprised.

The Saturday Night Live alum, 29, and the Outer Banks star, 25, have reportedly started spending time together after their respective recent breakups. According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, who were the first outlet to report the news, “Pete and Madelyn are dating.”

While it’s unclear when exactly this new fling started, the pair have seemingly have been trying to keep things quiet given the publicity surrounding their latest high-profile splits. “They spent the night together at the Beverly Hills Hotel and then had breakfast together there the next morning,” the insider shared. “They were really low-key and kept things casual, wearing baseball hats.”

News of Pete Davidson and Madelyn Cline’s rumored romance comes just one month after reports that the King of Staten Island star had ended his relationship with Chase Sui Wonders, 27, after less than a year of dating. The pair had met on the set of the A24 movie Bodies, Bodies, Bodies, where their onscreen romance soon turned into something real.

“Pete Davidson and Chase Sui Wonders have broken up and both of them are focusing on themselves,” a source told Entertainment Tonight on August 25. Meanwhile, other reports suggested the reason for Pete and Chase’s breakup came down things simply fizzling out.

“There’s no bad blood or any hard feelings between them,” a source told Us Weekly. The insider added, “Their relationship had simply run its course and they decided they just wanted different things.”

Before news of their breakup was made public, Pete was already having a bit of a tumultuous summer. The Meet Cute actor had voluntarily checked himself into rehab to treat his post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and borderline personality disorder (BPD) in June 2023. Page Six reported at the time that the comedian “regularly goes to rehab for ‘tune ups’ and to take a mental break.”

Not long before that, Pete and Chase were involved in a car crash when the comedian crashed into a fire hydrant in Beverly Hills. While no one was seriously injured, Pete was charged with one misdemeanor count of reckless driving and had to enter an 18-month diversion program which includes 50 hours of community service and 12 hours of traffic school.

Madelyn Cline, for her part, was most recently linked to Jackson Guthy. The pair first sparked romance rumors in June 2022, but seemed to have ultimately called it quits in July 2023. At the time, fans on social media noticed that the Netflix star had unfollowed the songwriter on Instagram.

Prior to her relationship with the “Like I Did” singer, the Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery actress famously dated her Outer Banks co-star, Chase Stokes, after meeting on the set of the Netflix series in 2019. The pair, who continue to play on-screen love interests, broke up in November 2021 after over a year together.
