Yes, Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande have broken off their engagement-something Davidson is already joking about it on SNL. In the promo clip that Grande absolutely did NOT appreciate, Davidson mock-proposed to the show's musical performer, Maggie Rogers. When she says no in the clip, Davidson quips "0 for 3." That track record is not for failed relationships but literal proposals, TMZ reports.

So if Grande makes one proposal and the gag proposal to Maggie Rogers makes two, who's the third person Davidson has proposed to? Apparently it's his ex Cazzie David (who he split with shortly before stepping out with Grande for the first time in May), and the outlet reports that he proposed more than just once.

Multiple sources close to the former couple told the outlet that Davidson asked David to marry him "multiple times" during their two-year relationship. The exact number of times wasn't clear, but David rejected his proposal every single time.

Davidson's SNL joke about the proposal track record, by the way, deeply hurt Grande, a source told E!. "They made an agreement that they would not address their relationship or discuss it after they split up," the source said. "He violated that agreement and it really hurt her. She knew he would see her tweet [about it]."
