Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson made his surprise debut as a male model on Friday night. The actor and comedian walked the runway for fashion designer Alexander Wang in the outdoor show for his Collection1 2020 line at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Wearing a white tank top which revealed his tattoos, a pair of black and white jeans, a black baseball cap and sneakers, Davidson's walk was cheered on by spectators.

As well as bringing in the usual fashion elite, Alexander Wang also made the event open to members of the public, with the brand's social media reaching out to welcome everybody. Industry insiders sat on the lower level of the Center, while everyone else was invited to sit on the upper plaza.

"Part of the coup of winning this location is that the company has a really organized location for industry types to sit and see the show in a very controlled manner on the lower level," a brand spokesperson told WWD ahead of the show. "Then, we invite essentially New York City to come to experience the show on the upper plaza. As an American brand that is rooted in New York, Rockefeller Center represented the energy and the epicenter of New York City."

In addition to being a cast member on the long-running Saturday Night Live for the last five years, Davidson is best known for his high profile romances with singer Ariana Grande and actress Kate Beckinsale. Maybe soon he'll be able to add 'supermodel' to his Wikipedia page?
