Pete Davidson and Kaia Gerber Have Reportedly Split
Pete Davidson and Kaia Gerber have reportedly decided to take a break from their relationship.
According to E! News, the reported split is partially a result of Pete wanting time to focus on his mental health. The couple has decided it's best to press pause, but hasn't ruled out a future relationship. "It became very clear that he had to go and do this and couldn't wait any longer," a source told E! of Pete's plans. An additional source noted that due to Pete's treatment, he wasn't able to be in contact with Kaia as much. As for Kaia, the source also alleged that the model understands the comedian's need to get well, and that at the moment, their future together remains "up in the air."
News of the alleged time apart comes after Pete addressed his relationship with Kaia on Saturday Night Live. At the time, nothing was confirmed regarding the romantic status of the celebs' involvement together, and many had speculated they were dating based on paparazzi photos. During the December SNL appearance, Pete had also hinted he was dealing with mental health concerns, hinting at a "vacation," with a hefty price tag and roommates, and as E! News notes in their reporting, the comedian is reportedly seeking help for his mental health.
It is important to note that neither Pete nor Kaia have publicly commented on the reported break. Additionally, Pete hasn't yet confirmed what, if any, mental health treatment he is seeking. However, prioritizing your well-being is always important, and though the two might be well-known celebs who are frequently spotted in the public eye, it's best to keep speculation regarding their status as a pair to a minimum. Whatever they decide will remain up to them, and ultimately, both need to do what is best for their own lives.
