It's officially been a week since Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande called off their engagement. Despite the breakup, the two have kept busy but under the radar: Ariana performed at a taping for A Very Wicked Halloween without her engagement ring, while Davidson returned to the comedy stage last night and addressed the split for the first time.

According to E!, Davidson co-hosted the comedy show Judd & Pete for America in West Hollywood alongside Judd Apatow, where the comedian talked about his breakup.

"Well, as you could tell, I don't want to be here. There's a lot going on," Davidson said to the audience. "Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?"

Davidson had been living with Grande at her swanky Chelsea apartment in New York City, but since the split, has moved out and is spending time with his support system.

In another bit, Davdison addressed the famous tattoos he got with Grande shortly after getting engaged. "So, obviously you know I, we [Ariana and I] broke up or whatever but when me and her first got engaged we got tattoos," he added. "And it was like in a magazine like, 'Was Pete Davidson stupid?' And 93% of it said yes,"

Davidson went on to recall his candid conversation with a friend. "So my boy, he was like, 'Don't listen to that s--t man. They're literally f--king haters.' And I'm like, yeah, f--k that. I'm not stupid. And the other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, 'Yo bro. Turns out you were stupid.'"

Apatow complimented Davidson for performing at the show, despite his personal troubles. Davidson replied, ""Well, you put me on the flyer, I had to," Davidson said, joking, "F--k my feelings."

Continuing, Apatow joked, "I care more about America than your feelings, I do. I care more about America than Pete's feelings."

"I feel like I am America," Davidson replied. "I'm a good guy that just keeps getting kicked in the dick. You're like, 'Ah, that f--king poor kid. Hope he doesn't kill himself.' That's America."

Despite the jokes, it was reported that Davidson is staying strong and even holding on to hope of a reconciliation. According to Page Six, "He’s still in love with Ariana and sees a future with her.” But in the meantime, “He knows [the breakup] is for the best."
