Pete Davidson Just Opened Up About His Split With Ariana Grande
Last week around this time, news broke that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson had split after a summer and early fall of love (and engagement). They'd had us on a rollercoaster of a journey along with them but, well, alas.
Davidson has reportedly opened up for the first time about the breakup since he and Grande split (Grande still hasn't made a public statement). He was doing a comedy set in Los Angeles for a benefit on Saturday night and cracked a few jokes about what went down—starting off with all those couple-y tattoos.
"Um, I've been covering a bunch of tattoos; that's fun," Davidson reportedly said. "I'm fucking 0 for 2 in the tattoo [department]. Yeah, I'm afraid to get my mom tattooed on me, that's how bad it is."
He added a little more about those tats:
"So, obviously you know I, we [Ariana and I], broke up or whatever, but when me and her first got engaged, we got tattoos," he later said. "And it was like in a magazine like, 'Was Pete Davidson stupid?' And 93 percent of it said yes," Davidson continued. "So my boy, he was like, 'Don't listen to that shit, man. They're literally fucking haters.' And I'm like, 'Yeah, fuck that. I'm not stupid.' And the other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, 'Yo bro. Turns out you were stupid.'"
Speaking of kitchens, Davidson is also apparently needing housing now.
"Well, as you could tell, I don't want to be here. There's a lot going on," Davidson reportedly said, because now he will not be living in Grande's $16 million mini-palace. "Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?"
Someone help Pete find an apartment.
