Pete Davidson is definitely not here for fans who criticize Ariana Grande. This weekend, he posted a picture of Ariana wearing a necklace with a replica of his late father Scott's FDNY badge and number, and a fan commented that it was "disrespectful."

"No girl should ever wear your dad's chain," the person wrote. "disrespectful."

Pete's father died during the 9/11 attacks in New York City, and Pete was quick to defend his choice, writing that this necklace is one of the most important things he owns, and he should get to decide what to do with it.

"For ur information that's not just some girl, that's my fiancé," Pete wrote. "She's the greatest person I know. I gave it to her because she has my heart and that is the most precious thing I own. My dad would be so happy and love her so much."

Ariana commented on the photo, too, writing "i love u more than anything."

This isn't the first step she's taken to honor Pete's father. When the couple stepped out on June 25, photographers noticed a tattoo on her foot of the number "8418," which was Pete's dad's badge number. You can see it in the necklace she's wearing above. Pete has the same number tattooed on his arm.

AND, and, that's not even the only Pete-themed tattoo she's gotten in the past few weeks. Just this weekend she got his name tattooed above where her ring sits on her fourth finger. If that's not love then idk what is.
