A24 has dropped off the second official trailer for Bodies Bodies Bodies, an upcoming dark comedy film directed by Halina Reijn.

The two-minute preview sees Bee (Maria Bakalova) attend a party with her rich girlfriend Sophie (Amandla Stenberg), who hangs with a group known to be rather "nihilistic" on the internet. According to an official synopsis, "When a group of rich 20-somethings plans a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game goes awry in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party gone very, very wrong."

Aside from Bakalova and Stenberg, the film stars Pete Davidson, Amandla Stenberg, Myha’la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, Rachel Sennott, and Lee Pace. The slasher entry will mark Reijn's sophomore effort, following her directorial debut in 2019 with Instinct.

The movie, which is produced by David Hinojosa and Ali Herting, first premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival 2022. Sarah DeLappe developed the screenplay based on a short story by Kristen Roupenian, which was first published and circulated in 2017 in The New Yorker.

Bodies Bodies Bodies hits select theaters on August 5, before receiving a wider release on August 12. Watch the trailer above.
