  • Pete Davidson is in the process of getting his tattoos removes. ALL of his tattoos.

  • According to a film critic, Pete's removing them to speed up the movie makeup process.

Never thought that I would ever write this sentence, but Pete Davidson—who literally has more pieces on ink on his body than anyone could feasibly keep track of—has officially decided to retire from the tattoo life. Not sure if it's because Pete's growing more mature with age or simply doesn't want to look at his tattoos as an 80-year-old man, but he's currently in the process of getting every one of his tattoos removed...which sounds very, very painful.

Earlier this month, film critic Mike McGranaghan sat in on a virtual Q&A session with the cast of King of Staten Island, which Pete stars in. During the session, Pete revealed his big news: "Just attended a virtual Q&A with the Judd Apatow and the cast of THE KING OF STATEN ISLAND. And here's a scoop: Pete Davidson is in the process of getting all his tattoos removed!" McGranaghan tweeted at the time.

Naturally, the film critic's followers didn't believe that Pete would really erase all his hard work of getting the tattoos, but McGranaghan #confirmed what he was saying was the truth and provided an explanation. When a follower asked, "That’s not serious is it? Why?" he replied, "No, it's real. He even showed his hand, which is already done. He said it takes 3-4 hours in the makeup chair to cover them, so he figured 'it would be easier to get them burned off.'"

So uh, that being said...expect to see a newer, fresher-looking version of Pete in 2021!
