Pet of the Week: Beeker and Baxter, Pawz and Purrz
(WETM) — A good girl and a good boy from Pawz and Purrz are sharing the title of Pet of the Week today.
Beeker is a female Pekingese mix, and Baxter is a male Yorkie and Pomeranian mix. Both of these little sweethearts are about six years old. Beeker and Baxter arrived at the shelter at the end of November and have been patiently waiting for their forever home ever since.
These two are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Beeker and Baxter are both very chill and laidback, and neither of these two require a lot of exercise. Beeker is a bit more outgoing than Baxter, who is happy to lay around and observe everyone else. Beeker is very motherly towards Baxter, and she needs to have him in her sight at all times.
Even though these two are very close, they are more than okay being around other four-legged friends. Beeker and Baxter are both good around cats and other dogs, but they would prefer to be in a home without small children.
Both of these good dogs are up-to-date on their vaccinations and have been dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. Beeker is spayed, and Baxter is neutered. Baxter has also received dental work and had bladder stones removed, and he is on a prescription diet due to the bladder stones.
