Pet Raccoon's Reaction to Family's Live Christmas Tree Couldn't Be More Fitting
She was just so delighted!
Every pet has their own unique reaction to a Christmas tree in the house, but @titotheraccoon's over-the-top curiosity might just be our favorite. This precious woodland girl didn't know what to do at first! Luckily, her doting owner recorded her hilarious antics to post on her TikTok account, and her followers are eating it up.
As the raccoon sniffed and climbed, we practically held our breath in anticipation of what she'll do next. All in all, though, we're just glad Tito didn't destroy the tree!

What a curious little critter! Tito is just as cute as she is explorative, which must come in handy if she ever gets in trouble. If we're being honest--we thought she'd knock over the tree for sure!
"Of course she's climbing it," said @angablina. What else did you expect? She may not be in her natural habitat anymore, but that doesn't mean she won't follow her instincts. Just like @bitchmcbitch said, she's the "ultimate ornament."
Speaking of ornaments, though, can you imagine what would happen to them if Tito's owner had put them on the tree? They'd be on the floor! It sounds like Tito's family thought ahead when they decided to nix the tree decor, but we love @themouseandthemoto's idea even more. They suggested that they, "decorate the tree WITH SNACKS for the little bandit. PLEASE!!" If that isn't the cutest idea--we don't know what is!
We also adored @megssovereasyy's comment: "she is the star at the top of the tree." But of course! There's zero need for ornaments, tinsel, or even stars with this little angel around.
