Pet Project: Pumba is a nice little guy

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Emma Miller with the Kansas Humane Society brought in Pumba, a dog, to KSN’s Pet Project on Thursday afternoon.

Since his appearance on KSN News, the KHS says Pumba is waiting to have a medical evaluation before being adopted!

He is a chug, or chihuahua and pug mix, and is 4 years old and fully grown at 13 pounds.

Miller says Pumba is a nice little guy who previously lived with a cat.

“He did really well with his kitty roommate,” said Miller. “He would occasionally chase him if he had the opportunity, but it was more playful, so if you have a cat that tolerant of that, it’s a good fit.”
