Pet Possum's Adoration for His Dad Is Full of So Much Love

This is just too precious.

Lots of people think if they find an abandoned baby possum that this animal would make a great pet. Not only do most states not allow it, but it can be difficult finding a veterinarian who is able to care for your domesticated possum. Having a pet possum is a lot of work.

Not only are these wild animals prone to diseases, they can have a difficult time bonding with humans and become aggressive when held in captivity. Welp, no one gave this information to the possum named Remmy owned by TikTok account @WhiteTrashSnowwhite, because Remmy loves his daddy pretty much more than anything. Just watch this absolutely adorable video to see what we mean.

We can't have a possum! But we want a possum! How sweet is this little guy! TikTok user @KB13760 explains Remmy's behavior and types, "He's scenting him, marking him. He's now property of that sweet opossum! Loves him." Awwww. @SpiccestBacchus adds, "He’s snuffing - possums do this to apply their scent to people/things they love, he’s claiming him." How cute is that? The account holder and possum owner explains, "Slubbing is a form of rubbing his marking gland on things he likes. And he loves Jake. This is pretty normal for Jake to endure this aggressive love."

@Bekah sums up how we are feeling right about now and adds, "I’m sending all these opossum and raccoon videos to my mom because she told me I couldn’t have them as pets growing up. I’m devastated Linda. Devastated." Us too, Linda. Us too.
