Person Who Filmed Kate Middleton’s Farm Shop Video Speaks Out Against Conspiracy Theories

Earlier this week, the Sun and TMZ published a video of Kate Middleton and Prince William shopping at a farm shop near their home in Windsor. It was the first time the Princess of Wales had been filmed in public since her abdominal surgery in January, and it quickly set off a new round of conspiracy theories.
Now, the man who took the video is speaking out. Nelson Silva, who captured the clip, says, "I’m not so much shocked that these comments have continued, I’m just confused how exactly they can continue. This is a video clearly showing her and William. I saw them with my own eyes. It was a completely relaxed situation."
He added, "What more do you need to lay off her? I thought after this was released they’d go quiet. But these people are so invested in the drama now. They’ve put so much time and energy into these rumors and lies that they can’t pull the plug."
Silva says that the conspiracy theorists claiming that it wasn't Kate in the video are "delusional."
"Even famous people are guilty. People with a large platform online — they can’t admit they are wrong now because they look so delusional," he says. "People across The Pond are invested and they must never have laid eyes on Kate in real life. But all these people in the UK too, they say it’s not her, that is it a fake person. Well I can tell you it is not. Are they now going to question if I’m a real person as well? Are they going to say I made this video? Did I put a fake Kate there? It is ridiculous."
Silva is trying to set the record straight, saying he really did see the Princess of Wales. "At what point will they back off and realize they have been caught up in something that is crazy?" he asked.
Kate and William's neighbor, Kevin Pietersen, also recently denounced the conspiracy theories. "The conspiracy theories around Kate are absolutely absurd! We see W&K most days and in the last couple days too!" he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
The Princess of Wales continues to recover from surgery at her home, Adelaide Cottage; in January, Kensington Palace said, "Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter."
