Persian Cat's Unique Attempts at Chirping Are Too Funny to Miss
Bobbie the black Persian cat is famous on TikTok for more than just her fluffy fur. Don't get us wrong--her dramatic hair-do is to die for, but this cat's vocal abilities are what has everyone watching on repeat. Bobbie has her own unique way of talking!
When most cats meow, @thatcatbobbie chirps. Or she tries to, anyway! This feline's vocalizations have everyone scratching their heads. But they also have everyone coming back for more. She's such an entertaining cat!

What a gorgeous fluffy cat! We were mesmerized by his dark-colored fur and enchanting eyes, but once we were over her looks we totally fell for his chirps. Is that the best word for her vocalizations?
Clever commenter @bellaluxe921 thought Bobbie sounds like a "cicada kitty," and we can't help but agree. Her chirps do sound like an insect rattle! Several other viewers thought that she sounded like one of those wooden frog-shaped percussion instruments, too. Someone needs to get this black kitty in a sound booth! With all the different hisses she can make, she'd made a lot of money producing sound effects.
As it turns out, she's not the only cat who makes these crispy sounds! @Abbyboisyylifts shared that "My Persian does this crunchy meow too! Do you think it's a breed thing?" It could be! A veterinarian or feline behaviorist would have more insight into the different sounds a cat can make, though pets continue to blow our minds every day. Before we know it, cats will be barking!
