Perdue Just Launched a New, First-of-Its-Kind Chicken

Say goodbye to soggy game day wings.

When it comes to air fryers, we’re pretty convinced they can do no wrong. From mastering fast, hearty meals to making some of the best (and quickest) side dishes, the air fryer can do it all in record time.

But our favorite things to make in the air fryer (besides decadent desserts) are appetizers and snacks. We get all the party grub we love (hello, Buffalo cauliflower) without actually frying anything. The results are tasty, healthy, and easy to clean up, allowing us to sit back and enjoy the benefits with our guests.

Nothing says “party time” quite like chicken wings, and Perdue’s latest offering makes them even easier to prepare.

Perdue's New Air Fryer Ready Crispy Wings

Perdue recently launched its new Air Fryer Ready Crispy Wings, the first of its kind made specifically for air frying. These would make the perfect snack while watching Monday night football or entertaining a holiday crowd.

Cody Walter, senior marketing manager at Perdue Foods said, “When ordering takeout, many of us have experienced the disappointing bite of not-so-crispy wings. Knowing 75% of households in the U.S. have air fryers, Perdue saw an opportunity to create the first of its kind chicken wing uniquely made for the air fryer, conveniently delivering the crispiest wings in just 16-18 minutes.”

With traditional chicken wings, you may need to marinate or add spices to create the flavor you want, but Perdue’s new chicken wings come in three delicious flavors:

• Hot N’ Spicy: "Coated in a paprika-based bold spice blend, these wings are sure to test your tastebuds."

• Lemon Pepper: "Savory and tangy...with zesty undertones from lemon oil and lemon juice, and feature a subtle warmth from turmeric and onion, delivering a bold flavor in every bite."

• Roasted: "A perfectly crispy savory wing that is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Each bite is packed with a variety of balanced flavors like onion and garlic, followed by deliciously juicy, tender chicken."
  

How to Get a Limited-Edition Air Fryer for $10

If you don’t already have an air fryer, you might be in luck. Perdue is offering a limited-edition Ultimate at Home Wing Kit that includes everything you need to make air-fried wings at home (including the air fryer!) for only $10. The kit comes packed with one package of each new wing flavor, a four-quart air fryer, a "Crispy Business" apron, tongs, a tote bag, and a coupon redeemable at participating retailers. Starting Dec. 11 at 12 p.m. EST, you can head to Perdue’s website and purchase the kit while supplies last.

The wings are also available online, where a 22-ounce bag costs $16.99. Those without an air fryer can pop these wings in the oven for that same juicy taste but with a slightly longer wait time.
